Your Best Photo Spots in Jaco Costa Rica
When visiting Jaco one of the most iconic photo spots is the Jaco Beach sign. Just off the highway south of the last entrance to the sign is looking over all of Jaco Beach. Jaco Beach located just 90 minutes south of San Jose is a small beachtown that has 10,000 local residents and it feels much larger than that with all the retail and all the tourism that happens here. In Costa Rica it seems like everything makes for an amazing photo but another one we like is a photo up in Miro's Mountain, a popular hiking trail among locals, where you can oversee all of Jaco and capture some amazing shots. The trail is located just across the gas station at the very end of Jaco. Its a very simple hike where you can get to the top in about 20 minutes.
In town Artify Jaco has lead a movement of local and famous artists leaving there mark all over. Throughout Jaco you will find some gorgeous murals painted by artists from all over the world. As well, there are smaller spots with different angel wings where you can pose and find your wings. Local art is a great photo for your Jaco memory.
But probably our favorite Jaco photo is capturing one Jaco's iconic sunsets. Jaco gets its share of breathtaking sunsets and its easy to get distracted from taking it in while grabbing your phone to take the perfect photo. When you visit Jaco, Costa Rica you'll find that there is so much you'll want to photograph, but try to just relax and enjoy the moment as well.
